NEWS UPDATE 1-4-2010: The Maxwells are 3 years old now and going for 4!
THANKS to all the loyal fans for supporting us and buying our CD. By the way,
for all you penny-pinchers out there who haven't bought a CD yet, we've decided
to drop the price to $10 for an undetermined amount of time. That's less than $1
per song! So, come on, unlock your billfolds you cheap #&*!%^@!!! The CDs are
available at our gigs or cdbaby.com. Also, you might find one at CD Warehouse
here in Springfield.
An additional THANK YOU to the staff and patrons at Harlow's for a great New
Years Eve party. The "children of the corner" were rockin' the joint!
Speaking of Harlow's, we'll be performing for they're 29th ANNIVERSARY on
Wednesday, Jan. 20th from 7-11pm. This could turn into a cool jam session with
guest musicians to help celebrate.
COMING SOON: Look for The Maxwells to start playing at some of the clubs
downtown and on the south side. We're working on it, anyway, trying to "spread
out" a bit.
Les has been writin' some new tunes for the next Maxwells CD and hopefully we
can begin recording this spring or summer. Check back with us for updates, show
dates, or a cheap date!
